This bag was handcrafted in the outer Atlas Mountains of North Africa in Morocco by Berber farming families. Each basket is woven by hand for hours from the leaves of the Date Palm. The palm leaf is known for being hard and strong-wearing, and these techniques have been used for generations to make traditional work baskets used for farming. The baskets vary in their weave and finish, making your #AmeCandy unique in it’s own way.
The Charisa tote measures approximately 9 inches wide and 8 inches in height. Note that the bags may differ slightly from the measurements due to the nature of how they are made.
